Ei SHu, Ph.D.

Dr. Shu is a Visiting Associate Professor of Stanford University. She is an associate professor of Graduate School of Economics (MBA Program) at Kyushu University.

Her current research focuses on technological innovation and strategic management in Asian firms. Her recent empirical work has been conducted on the effects of government’s regulation on technological change in the automobile industry and corporate strategy on green technology development. Another key area of her work is to study the institutional and cognitional factors’ role on entrepreneurial opportunity cognition.

She holds a MA and PhD from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo.
