Yoshifumi Mizuhara is a visiting scholar at Stanford’s US-Asia Technology Management Center for 2015-16. Mizuhara has over 10 years of experience in business development and manufacturing services for digital devices at Sanyo Electronics, one of the Japanese electronics giants that merged with the Panasonic group, as well as Xacti corporation, the digital imaging division, which spun off of Sanyo Electronics in 2013. His experience includes not only engineering, but also business planning and new business development. While at Stanford, Mizuhara is researching the development of new business models around emerging technologies within hardware startups in the US and Japan. He received his M.A. and B.A. in Engineering from Osaka University, Japan.
