Professor Jun Nakaya 

Associate Professor of Information Center for Medical Sciences

Tokyo Medical and Dental University

Jun Nakaya  received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Hokkaido University in 1985 and 1987, respectively. After staying in IBM from 1987 to 1989, he received M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Hokkaido University in 1995 and 1999, respectively. During his experience of clinical practice as a deputy director of Utsukushigaoka Hospital from 1999 to 2002, he stayed in M.I.T. for a while at 2000. Then he has experience of health VB as CEO with staying in Institute of Medical Science, Univ. of Tokyo from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he managed clinical genome informatics center as an Associate Professor of graduate school of medicine, Kobe Univ. From 2007, he is an associate professor of Information Center for Medical Sciences in Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He is a member of ISO, HL7, AMIA, ISMH, MIT-J, SSJ, and MSJ.
