Christos Kozyrakis's primary focus is Computer Systems Architecture. He is currently involved in projects that explore the architecture, compilers, and programming models for highly-parallel systems. These systems range from highly-integrated consumer devices to large-scale supercomputers. 

He joined Stanford in 2002 after receiving a PhD in Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley under the supervision of David Patterson.
