There are new numbers coming out right now. This is IDC's most recent study. They're projecting into the year 2000, this current year, that we'll probably exit with about 327 million users of the Web. Best guess of last year exiting 1999, 200 million o
So the global mix of users is really picking up at high rates outside of the U.S. and more importantly by 2003 it's projected to be maybe 600 million or so worldwide. Big number. Lots of zeroes behind the significant digits. Big market.
The web is becoming more accessible/mainstream.
