Professor of Economics, University of California at Santa Cruz

 

K.C. Fung is currently Professor of Economics, UC, Santa Cruz, Founding Co-Director, Santa Cruz Center for International Economics, and Visiting Professor, Department of Economics, Stanford University. He was senior staff economist, Council of Economic Advisors in the Bush and Clinton Administrations. He was a consultant to the World Bank. He was a Visiting Professor at the School of Economics and Finance, University of Hong Kong this past summer. He was also an Invited Lecturer at Naikai University, P.R.C. and a Visiting Researcher at the Chung Hua Institute for Economic Research in Taiwan. He has a forthcoming book "U.S. Direct Investment in China", AEI Press, joint with Larry Lau of Stanford. His research interests include international trade and economics of East Asia.
