HIGH TECH ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION IN EAST ASIA: Topics in International Technology Management

Bio: Jason Noh
Founder/Principal, Hyper Co., Ltd. and COTech Co., Ltd.

After working for Samsung as the Overseas Technology Sales representative for several years, Jason Noh became an entrepreneur. In 1997 and 1998, he founded two IT venture companies, Hyper Co., Ltd. and COTech Co., Ltd., in Korea with trusted colleagues. Over the past few years, Jason has played a key leadership role in positioning these companies for future success. In fact, one of those companies went public in September 2001 in Korea. Linguist by education and software engineer by training, Jason is a highly motivated and uniquely focused individual, still churing out a great number of software prototypes that implement new ideas and technology. Jason not only understands technology, but thrives on the ever-evolving technology landscape. The sense of entrepreneurship and teamwork has been certainly been reinforced since his arrival in the Silicon Valley area almost three years ago. Silicon Valley has provided Jason the opportunity to be a more efficient and productive technologist. Jason is currently working as CTO in a start-up called AZMG Inc.
