Bio: Kiyo Oishi
President and Chief Operating Officer, ACCESS Systems America

 

Mr. Oishi is President, Chief Operating Officer, Treasurer, and Board Member of ACCESS Systems America Inc., a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of ACCESS Co., Ltd. in Japan. ACCESS Co., Ltd. is a leading global provider of innovative embedded software solutions for Internet appliances. ACCESS Co., Ltd.'s NetFront and Compact NetFront browsers are used in over 120 different commercial products worldwide. Over 35 million ACCESS software licenses have been shipped from more than 40 major Internet appliance manufacturers.

Mr. Oishi joined ACCESS Systems America Inc. in 1999 as Vice President of Marketing, where he defined and implemented the company's sales and marketing. Mr. Oishi has over 14 years of experience in the business of software and hardware for consumer electronics.

Prior to joining ACCESS Systems America, Mr. Oishi was Director of Marketing at Geoworks, where he was responsible for multiple embedded software licensing deals with leading consumer electronics companies. Before Geoworks, Mr. Oishi worked at Sony, where he accumulated extensive experience in sales, marketing and business planning in the areas of consumer electronics and component devices.

Mr. Oishi holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
