Bio: Goli Ameri
Founder & President, eTinium

Goli Ameri is the founder and president of eTinium, a telecom consulting and market research firm specializing in wireless technologies. She is the author of over 30 wireless studies, the latest of which is the upcoming study titled "Seamless Mobility: The Marriage of 3G and Wireless LANs” to be published by the International Engineering Consortium (IEC).

Since 1992, eTinium has assisted clients, including emerging and established international telecom vendors and service providers, develop strategic marketing and corporate direction, create alliances and gain an in-depth understanding of their market through sound research and market segmentation. Engagements have included competitive analysis of cellular infrastructure equipment, the impact of Wireless LANs on 3G services, issues facing cellular operators in deploying 2.5G and 3G networks, and the fixed, mobile and broadband wireless markets in Europe & Asia.

Ms. Ameri is quoted regularly in such publications as RCR Wireless News, Wireless Week, Internet Week, EE Times, national Business Journals, the San Jose Mercury News, Multex Investor, Internet Telephony, and the X-Change magazine amongst others. She is invited regularly as a speaker to industry conferences worldwide including CTIA, SuperNet, National Wireless Engineering Conference, 802.11b and SMI Conferences in Europe. She also writes a bi-monthly analysis column for Telephony magazine.

Ms. Ameri has a Master and Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Stanford University, and has studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. Ms. Ameri is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
