Tae Hea Nahm
Founding Partner, Storm Ventures

Tae Hea Nahm is a founding partner of Storm Ventures. Tae Hea focuses on analog/mixed signal semiconductors and wireless communications. He is on the board of several companies. He was the acting CEO of Airespace Networks, which was incubated at Storm. He has also been involved in Storm's investments in Bivio, Inkra Networks, Kineto Wireless, OSA Technology, Polaris Networks and Sierra Monolithics. Leveraging his experience with startups, Tae Hea cofounded Novera Optics with Prof. Byoung Yoon Kim (KAIST) and Prof. H. John Shaw (Stanford) and serves on its board of directors. Novera is an optical component company based on technology originally developed in Korea. Prior to founding Storm, Tae Hea was a cofounding partner of Venture Law Group and a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Since his first client (incorporating StrataCom in 1985), Tae Hea has advised and personally invested in numerous technology startups through their growth, from incorporation through venture capital financings, corporate partnerships, IPO, and mergers and acquisitions. Representative companies included Access360/IBM, AtRoad, ESS Technology, IC Works/Cypress, JetCell/Cisco, Landec, Marvell Technology, Netro, Quality Semiconductor/IDT, Ramp Networks/Nokia, Sina.com, StrataCom/Cisco, Telera/Alcatel, Transmedia/Cisco, and Xylan/Alcatel.

He holds an AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College and a JD from University of Chicago Law School.
