Zoran Krivokapic received M.Sc. in Solid State Physics and Dr. Sc.
Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
He has spent 24 years in the semiconductor industry.
Since 1990 he has worked for Advanced Micro Devices on various topics:
technology manufacturability, lithography, topography and equipment
simulation, and logic and memory device research.
Currently, he works in the AMD Strategic Technology Group on the 32 and
22nm logic technologies, studying the effects of local strain, new
channel material, and statistical fluctuations on devices and circuits,
and on the 32 nm node advanced memory devices, such as silicon
nanowires, metallic nanocrystals, and Mott memory.
He has been involved with the Semiconductor Research Consortium for many
years, interacting with university researchers on Front End Processes
(FEP) and advanced semiconductor devices. He is also actively involved
in NRI projects on spintronics.
He has authored more than 40 technical papers and holds 107 U.S.
patents.
