Takashi Kido

Takashi Kido received his Ph.D from Keio University in computer science in 1997. He studied Internet Agent technology in NTT Yokosuka laboratory ad set up for new R&D center under Malaysia national project named Multimedia Supper Corridor project. He moved from NTT, which is giant telecommunication company in Japan, to Japanese biotech start up company named HuBit Genomix in 2002. In Hubit, he studied on bioinformatics for discovering causative genes of several diseases, which will be utilized for new drug development and genetic based diagnosis for the future. He has just moved from HuBit Genomix to Stanford University as a visiting researcher in medical school in this April. In addition to the bioinformatics research, he has strong interests on the global entrepreneurship and R&D innovation in start up firms.
