His career in Biotech has started in mid 1980's when he specialized
molecular genetics at University of Tokyo, Japan. He joined Marubeni as a biotech specialist and worked with US
biotech firms to establish a business in Japan. After helped several ventures to successfully enter the
Japanese market, he decided to study at UCLA Business School to hone his skills in Venture Financing and
International Marketing. He came back to the US in 2000 to work in the semiconductor industry as a product
manager for Entegris, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENTG) in Colorado, who completed IPO in 2001 while he was there. He then moved
to Silicon Valley to assume the current role in venture investment and marketing in the biotech
industry.
