EE-402A Theme for Autumn 2013 is “New Value Chains and the Rise of Open Innovation in Asia.” Over the course of the 9 week seminar series, this series will examine the impact of new technologies on industry value chains, e.g. EVs in the automobile industry, big data in advertising and marketing, smart grids in energy domains, and sensor networks in security and other applications. Focus is placed on Silicon Valley-Asia connections and on the processes of open innovation that are co-evolving with the new value chains. Distinguished speakers from industry and government.
