U.S. and Southeast Asia Cross-border Tech Acceleration

Winston Choe, Managing Partner, Tech Growth Ventures

Winston Choe, Managing Partner at Tech Growth Ventures (TGV), will provide an introduction to the growth accelerator focused on US and Southeast Asia market-access through market-development, partnerships, joint ventures, investment, M&A.  Through our discussions, Winston will also provide his perspectives into how the entrepreneurial ecosystems in Southeast Asia are evolving.  Are the possibilities for US-Southeast Asia cooperation at the startup level growing?  How are Southeast Asia entrepreneurs becoming players on the global stage?

TGV is based in Santa Clara where they have developed a portfolio of companies from the US and Asia through a structured and outcome-based accelerator program.  TGV also works with governments and corporations to develop their innovation-pipeline with Silicon Valley.

Winston’s background covers over 20 years in the Mobility, Communications, Software, and Services industries, where he has developed businesses at startup ventures and multinational-corporations across US and Asia.  He founded three software ventures in business-networking, mobile cloud-computing and networked-multimedia, and he was also a Founding Mentor at The Founder Institute and Plug and Play Tech Center. Previously, Winston managed sales and business-development organizations in Intel Personal Computing, HP Handheld, Nokia Mobility, Sun Consumer Mobile, and DEC Global Services groups where he managed carriers, strategic-partners, and new market-development.
