Dan Svejnar

COO and CFO

Mr. Svejnar is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of United Wind.  He is responsible for managing the day to day development, finance, and operations teams and overseeing various strategic growth initiatives.  Mr. Svejnar has extensive renewable energy experience covering product development, project development and project finance.  He has successfully executed over $1 billion in transactions spanning corporate equity, project equity, equipment financing, construction and term financing and tax equity investments.  Over his career, Mr. Svejnar has founded and grown teams focused on deploying capital in the US and European renewable energy markets.  He began his career in project finance working for GE Capital, Fortis Capital and HSH Nordbank.  Mr. Svejnar graduated from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Hirokazu Yamaguchi

Executive General Manager, Global Innovation & Investments

Hirokazu Yamaguchi is the Executive General Manager of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings (TEPCO).  He is responsible for TEPCO’s Global Innovation & Investments and International Business.

Mr. Yamaguchi, who graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tokyo, joined TEPCO in 1987 and has served the company for about 30 years. He has assumed roles in numerous areas, including Corporate Strategy, Business Development and Nuclear Safety Reform. He graduated from Cornell University, Johnson Graduate School in 1994.
