Next Generation Retail Business Model Powered by Creator Economy

Dylan Park, Managing Director of Partnership at Leferi, will share how the e-commerce landscape in Asia is changing due to the increasing influence of social media content creators. He also will share his perspective on the possible opportunities and risks for each key retail & media ecosystem players such as manufacturers, media companies, and retail distribution companies.

Our flagship autumn Seminar Series on International Technology Management in 2023 examines ways in which new digital technologies, business models, and data governance frameworks are addressing problems and opportunities at the interface between the digital economy and the external world, with special attention to new patterns of competition and cooperation between Asia and the U.S.

The series begins September 2023 and continues weekly until December 2023. Seminars will be held in-person and over Zoom on Tuesdays, 4:30 PM – 5:50 PM.  Please stay tuned for details on how to register.

Managing Director, Head of Partnerships at Leferi (Korea)

Dylan Park is the Managing Director of Partnerships at Leferi, a South Korean leading company in the beauty and lifestyle creator economy, specializing in the commercialization of digital content and influencer networks. He is an enthusiast for the creator economy and an expert in FMCG, digital entertainment, media, and web3 across global markets, particularly in Asia and the US. Before his current position, he led business development for companies like WebTVAsia (Southeast Asia’s largest YouTube channel network), CP Labs (Korea’s top blockchain technology developer and patent holder), and Asia Innovations Group (a leading provider of live streaming, fan community, and game services based in Beijing, China). Throughout his career, he has covered the markets in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Greater China, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, and Thailand.

He began his career as a consumer beauty brand manager in New York, collaborating with major online and offline mass retailers, including Walmart, Target, Ulta, and Amazon.com. Currently, he also serves as an advisor at Youha (Korea’s largest YouTube market data intelligence platform) and N&E Innovations (a Singaporean environmental bioengineering company) to support global and domestic business development and Go-To-Market strategies.
