2025 Japan-U.S. Innovation Awards Symposium

The Japan – U.S. Innovation Awards Symposium is the signature event of the Innovation Awards Program, the longest running annual program in the Bay Area celebrating the links between Silicon Valley and Japan innovation. Each year, the Japan – U.S. Innovation Awards selects one innovative high-growth company from Japan and one from the U.S. that are already beginning to transform a major industry or value chain.
The symposium will include:
- 2025 SunBridge-John Thomas Emerging Leader Awardees: Waymo (U.S.) and teamLab (Japan)
- Innovation Showcase featuring five exciting Japanese start-up companies: Alpha Fusion Inc., Josys, NanoQT, POCKETALK Corporation, and Thinker Inc.
- Keynote segment with John L. Hennessy, Director of the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program, Chairman of Alphabet’s Board of Directors, and Former President of Stanford University on the U.S. – Japan Cooperation & Innovation in the Semiconductor Industry
- Panel discussion on The Impact of the New Administration on AI and US-Japan Cooperation
- Lunch provided
