Guest speaker: Galina Besstremyannaya, Associate Professor of Faculty of Economic Sciences / Department of Applied Economics and Senior Research Fellow of Faculty of Economic Sciences / International Laboratory for Macroeconomic Analysis at HSE University

Galina Besstremyannaya (PhD in Economics, Keio University, Tokyo; PhD in Math Methods in Economics, CEMI Russian Academy of Sciences, MA in Economics, New Economic School) is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and a Senior Research Fellow at the International Laboratory for Macroeconomic Analysis at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russian Federation, Moscow). Dr. Besstremyannaya was also a former Visiting Scholar with the US-ATMC and at Stanford’s Department of Economics (Apr. 2014 – Sept. 2015). Research interests are economics of innovation, industrial organization, productivity analysis and health economics. Publications appear in: Econometrics Journal, Journal of Empirical Finance, Health Economics, Journal of Productivity Analysis, Econometrics and Statistics, Applied Economics, Japanese Economic Review.
