Stanford University US-Asia Technology Management Center and European Innovation and Entrepreneurship @Stanford are pleased to jointly host Dr. Christoph Leitl, President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber on Wednesday, January 29, 2014.
Dr. Leitl oversees the nine State Chambers (one in each of Austria’s federal states or Bundesland) and 110 trade associations for different industries. The resultant membership includes a consortium of over 450,000 companies drawn from a broad cross-section of businesses which include trade and craft, commerce, industry, transportation, tourism, services industries, finance and insurance. In May 2013, President Leitl became an Honorary Member of SME Europe, the business organization for the European People’s Party, and is intimately familiar with European affairs.
After Dr. Leitl’s talk, light refreshments will be served, and there will be an opportunity to connect with high-level Austrian government officials and business executives from 2:30-3:00PM.
Special thanks to our sponsor, the Austrian Trade Commission, for this special presentation.
