Asia Society’s event on Unleashing the Power of Biotech

On October 5th the Asia Society of Northern California hosted a panel discussion on  “Unleashing the Power of Biotech in the Bay Area and Asia: Exploring Possibilities, Collaboration, and Risks” in San Francisco. US-ATMC Director Dr. Richard Dasher joined Dr. Regis B. Kelly, Director of one of four California Institutes for Science and Innovation, Mika Nishimura, Operational Partner at Glide Healthcare, and Dr. Marietta Wu, Managing Director of Quan Capital, for a discussion on the future of biotechnology and how countries can collaborate to extend lives, improve healthcare, and what potential risks the rapid acceleration of biotechnology innovation may pose.
