JWIBA Summer Summit

Congratulations to JWIBA (Japanese Women’s Initiative in the Bay Area) on a successful inaugural summit on August 1st! The program included a panel on female entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley moderated by US-ATMC Director Dr. Richard Dasher with Yotetsu Hayashi from JETRO, Mariko Yang-Yoshihara, Ph.D. from Sky Lab, and Yumi A. Willems of LEAD.

The summit received 184 attendees in-person at Plug and Play in Sunnyvale, and another 118 people online. The evening included a report on JWIBA’s research activities and recommendations, panel discussions, and a networking party.
