Daichi Hirose

Daichi Hirose is a Partner at SDG Impact Japan Inc. He previously worked with Strategic Value Partners, a US-based hedge fund, and BASF Venture Capital, the corporate venture capital arm of a German chemical firm. Hirose also served as a technical advisor on microfinance at Positive Planet, an international NGO founded by French economist Jacques Attali.

As Senior Executive Officer of ReNet Japan Group, he played a key role in launching the company’s overseas operations. In Cambodia, he helped turn inclusive businesses like microfinance, leasing, and microinsurance into the main drivers behind the company’s listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market.

Most recently, Hirose was involved in mergers and acquisitions as well as new business development at Cross Marketing Group, one of the leading marketing research/digital marketing firm in Japan.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Keio University.
