Visiting Scholars

- Usually for one (academic) year, but shorter visits possible
- Must have Ph.D. or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum English proficiency requirements – details available
- “Equivalent experience” and skills can be discussed with Prof. Dasher
US-ATMC Visiting Scholars work directly with Prof. Dasher on a topic of research of interest to their company
- Regular individual meetings throughout the time at Stanford
- Visiting Scholars present research findings at US-ATMC general meeting or other public occasion
- May audit most regular Stanford classes with approval by instructor
- US-ATMC provides shared office space, Stanford email; sponsors J-visa
