Speakers
Mr. Brian Burns
Vice President, Asia Pacific, Cloudian
With extensive experience and relationships in Japan, China and other Asian countries, Brian Burns has led market entry, sales and marketing, and strategic fundraising for North American software companies seeking to accelerate their growth in the region. He crafted and led go-to-market strategies, built sales organizations and opened business operations for Cloudian, HashiCorp, Hortonworks, ViXS, Cybersource (VISA), Microsoft and Apple Computer. His industry domains include enterprise software with a focus on Big Data, analytics, AI/ML, and IoT. Mr. Burns graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with majors in Engineering and Asian Languages. He earned his MBA from Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where he was an InterPacific Scholar and attended Keio University in Tokyo. He speaks Japanese and Mandarin Chinese.
